There is little doubt amongst successful internet business people that list building is crucial to the success of any online business. This is true regardless of your niche. The main reason building a list
is so important is because people rarely buy a product or service the first time they visit your website. It is important to note that you normally have to follow up with someone at least two or three times in
order for them to buy a product.

If course getting a list is important, but how exactly do you go about doing it? Here are three list building methods that I use with tremendous results:

1. Write articles. This is a very underused strategy because article marketing is without question a very effective form of traffic generation. If you can start writing just one or two articles per day
you will see an increase in traffic and you can start collecting a lot of email addresses.

2. Use some sort of social networking such as MySpace or Facebook. Both of these services are free, and can provide great traffic for a little bit of work. This is effective because of how many people that
are on these sites who could potentially be interested in your products or services.

3. Post classified ads on eBay. This is my favorite form of list building because you can leverage the power of eBay to work for you. By placing a good classified ad on eBay, you will get at least 200
visitors per ad per month. So, if you had 50 ads running per month you would generate 10,000 visitors per month to your website which you could easily turn into 3,000 subscribers per month.

With this strategy you could go from nothing to a list of 30,000 plus in just one year! Imagine how much money you could make if you could add 30,000 leads per month to your business! These list building methods work, so try them and your business will boom.
